 Construction Management RESIDENTIAL DESIGN SERVICES SCD Inc. offers residential design services to assist the customer in their selection of a residential floor plan for construction. Services are offered to prepare a custom construction set of drawings on new construction projects from 1000 square feet to 10,00 square feet, or as large as you want, up to a maximum of three floors. Many times customers have a basic floor plan that is preferred but is in need of modifications to fit the living style and specific requirements of the homeowner. We will modify the plan as needed with the homeowner to provide a computer generated construction set of drawings necessary to construct the residence. This added value offers a flexibility with the homeowner to build and construct the plan that they want, and offer the additional enhancements that makes their home truly unique. DESIGN/BUILD Design/Build projects are also a service we provide. The most important process of any construction project is the planning and discussion before the construction activity begins in the field. We typically begin the project listening to the homeowner, noting their requirements and needs. Then a design and specification package is prepared which is reviewed with the homeowner. This is an iterative process by which the homeowner can review the design, make changes, and once approved, immediately begin the construction process. This method of construction allows up front design costs to be minimized while allowing the flexibility to begin the project quickly and proceed into the construction phase. |
