 Construction Management RESIDENTIAL DESIGN SERVICES SCD Inc. also offers residential design services to assist the customer in their selection of a residential floor plan for construction. Services are offered to prepare a custom construction set of drawings on new construction projects from 1200 square feet to 12,500 square feet. Many times the customer have a basic floor plan that is preferred, but is in need of modifications to fit the living style and the desires of the homeowner. SCD Inc. will modify the plan as required with the homeowner to provide a construction set of drawings necessary to construct the residence. This added value offers a flexibility with the homeowner to build and construct the plan that they want, and offer the additional enhancements that makes their home truly unique. DESIGN/BUILD Design/Build projects are also a service of SCD Inc. The most important process of any construction project is the planning and discussion before the construction activity begins in the field. SCD Inc. typically begins the project listening to the homeowner, their requirements and needs. Then a design and specification package is prepared which is reviewed with the homeowner. This is an iterative process by which the homeowner can review the design, make changes, and once approved, immediately begin the construction process. This method of construction allows up front design costs to be minimized while allowing the flexibility to begin the project quickly and proceed into the construction phase. |
